Make Cold Press Coffee at home!

Cold Press Coffee is all the rage these days, the cost is through the roof. You don't need to take out a mortgage to afford this luxury. Make your very own without the cost of the store bought version.

1 1/2 Cups Coffee Beans

Medium-Course Grounds

8 Cups Water

1/4 Cup Milk (your choice)

2 Cinnamon Sticks (or other Simple Surprises)

1 Tbsp Honey (or sweet of your choice)

Add 8 Cups of water in a large pitcher, stir.

Let mixture set at room temperature for 12-24 hours. The longer the stronger your coffee will be.

If desired, add vanilla bean, cinnamon sticks, cardamon pods or fresh mint at this point.

Strain coffee concentrate into another large pitcher though a fine wire mesh with cheese cloth.

To serve, dilute coffee concentrate to desired taste (about 1:1 ratio) with water, sparkling water or milk. Add sweeteners as desired. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
