Macaroni and Cheese

Finally a Macaroni and Cheese

Without Cheese!

You can make this recipe extra cheesy

by adding more nutritional yeast.

Make this recipe gluten free

by using gluten free pasta.

1 Cup Raw Cashews

2 Cup Water

1 Cup Canned Coconut Milk

1 Small Red Bell Pepper (cleaned & chopped)

1/4 Cup Nutritional Yeast

1 tsp Onion Powder

1 tsp Salt

1/4 Cup Cornstarch

1 lb Whole Wheat Elbow Macaroni

Cook pasta according to directions.

While pasta is cooking, place the remaining ingredients into a high-powered blender or food processor and blend until silky smooth.

Once you strain the pasta, place it back into the pot and add the blended sauce.

Cook over medium high heat, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens and is the texture of macaroni and cheese, for about 5 - 8 minutes.
